Bring The Nature Indoors –
When planning for a bedroom, it is essential to consider several details. I work thoroughly and always start from the client's body constitution. In the case of a hotel where a mixed audience will sleep, I choose a more neutral line that can suit everyone. However, it is important to take it step by step. A successful result is the conveyed feeling and the room's impact on sleep.
Holistic interior design is an energy-based practice that focuses on purification and balance.
We are now moving from living in spaces that support us from a practical and visually appealing way to spaces supporting our spiritual journey and development.
A Good Night Sleep
Sleep is one of the essential parts of life to achieve optimal health.
We spend a third of our lives sleeping. Sleep is a natural process for both body and soul,
and the quality of sleep is carefully regulated by our bodies – rest – recovery – detoxification.
According to Vastu Shastra: The recommendation for the location of the bedroom is in the south. If this location is not possible, the room can be balanced through colour.
Keep the bed away from the wall but leave a little space for energy balance.
Favorite place: South
Dominated by the elements: Earth, fire
• Avoid Northeast and Center – Space.
• Colour choices: Soil & moss tones, yellow, green, pink, blue,
indigo, violet, white, copper.
• Food of the senses: Crystals, stones, flowers, etheric
oils, incense, ragas.
• Sleep with your head facing south or east. Avoid north.
The bedroom should be kept cool.
Let the bedroom be a refuge from screens.
Live well & wisely!
